Journey of Line

Discover Six Decades of Creative Mastery

Journey of Line

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shafique Farooqi’s “Journey of Line” is his signature artistic and philosophical concept — a lifelong exploration of how a simple line can become a profound expression of existence, movement, and spiritual awakening.

This series is not just about visual art; it is a metaphysical journey, a dialogue between the visible and the invisible, between the artist’s soul and the universe.

The “Journey of Line” represents the evolution of thought and spirit through the movement of a line.
For Farooqi, every line is alive — it begins with a dot (the origin of creation) and flows endlessly, symbolizing the continuity of life, unity, and divine energy.
It mirrors his deep engagement with Sufism, calligraphy, and philosophy, especially influenced by Jalaluddin Rumi and Allama Iqbal.
